Good Women works to prevent human trafficking by empowering woman and children
Good Women International began as a grassroots organization, consisting of a small group of women concerned about the injustices occurring globally against both children and young women. Human trafficking or modern-day slavery came to the forefront of our research.
Located in Nevada County, California, we became concerned about the human sex trafficking of minor children and young women along the I-80 and I-5 corridors; just a short distance from our small town. It was at that moment that we realized, If it can happen here, it can happen anywhere. And in fact, it does.
Our awareness became more attuned to this issue as we continued to do our research globally, nationally and locally. We determined that the most efficient way to eliminate this social atrocity was to focus our attention on prevention. We have made it our mission to educate individuals about Human Trafficking and we continually seek out and financially support the best educational opportunities and programs making the most effective impact. Education empowers others to be the change that eradicates this #1 social injustice once and for all.
As a member of the Village Care International family, our 501c3 status allows us to do our important work, and provides our donors with a tax deductible donation.
